We have a great opportunity for a Gardener to join our facilities department. As a Facilities Operative / Gardener, you will be responsible for the Gardening and maintenance of all company grounds at a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Maintain lawns, flower beds, shrubs, and trees
- Plant seasonal flowers, trees, and other vegetation
- Mow lawns, trim hedges, and edge pathways
- Identify and treat plant diseases and pests
- Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of outdoor areas
- Work within health and safety guidelines
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in gardening or landscaping
- Good knowledge of plants, horticulture, and seasonal care
- Ability to use a variety of gardening tools and machinery
- Physically fit and capable of outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Our ideal candidate will
- Experience working in a residential, commercial or public garden.
- Able to understand landscape designs and bedding schemes.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in garden / grounds maintenance
- Wide knowledge of gardening.
