About the Role
We're looking for an organised and proactive Commercial Sales Administrator to join our Commercial Team.
You'll play a key role in supporting our sales activities by preparing quotations, processing orders, managing customer enquiries, and maintaining accurate commercial records. Working closely with customers, suppliers, Account Managers, and internal teams, you'll help deliver excellent customer service while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue customer quotations.
- Process sales orders and maintain accurate records.
- Support pricing requests, proposals, and customer documentation.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide order updates.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to gather information.
- Monitor and follow up quotation opportunities.
- Assist with contract administration and account support.
- Produce reports and sales performance data.
- Support invoicing, purchase orders, and general administration.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer service.
About You
You'll have:
- Previous administration experience in a sales, commercial, customer service, or operational environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Confidence working with pricing and commercial data.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
Desirable
- Experience preparing quotations and processing sales orders.
- Experience using ERP, CRM, or service management systems (Sage 200 desirable).
- Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, facilities management, or service-based business.
