Role Overview:
Millers Oils Ltd are looking for an organised and proactive Purchasing Administrator to join our friendly and dedicated team. In this key role, you'll support our Operations and Accounts departments by ensuring the smooth and timely procurement of materials, packaging, services, and consumables - everything we need to keep production running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise and manage purchase orders for raw materials, parts, packaging, and services
- Track deliveries, chase suppliers, and escalate delays when needed
- Communicate with suppliers to get quotes, confirm specs, and solve delivery or quality issues
- Maintain accurate stock records in our ERP system and assist with stock counts
- Support continuous improvement in purchasing and inventory processes
- Work closely with the Production, Quality, and Operations teams
