Job Description

Purpose: To undertake basic work, performing routine duties in accordance with detailed procedures and instructions.

Entry Criteria: New starters with no experience (either direct with Herman Miller or via our partner agency). Basic understanding of numeracy and literacy is expected. Training on processes will be provided.

Responsibilities & Job Duties:

  • Able to work in a primary area with supervision and training
  • Operating simple machinery or equipment in accordance with instructions
  • Carrying out routine assembly tasks
  • Carrying out routine manual tasks
  • Providing parts for assembly
  • Delivering a quality product to the next step in the process
  • Completing tasks safely and to agreed quality standards within Takt time
  • Passing on details of completed work
