We are looking for a Sustainability & Utilities Improvement Specialist to join our team in Aspall Site, Suffolk based on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract.

About the Role
Are you passionate about driving sustainability and making a real impact on the journey to net zero? We are looking for a Sustainability & Utilities Improvement Specialist to join our team based at our Aspall site in Suffolk on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. This is a unique opportunity to lead meaningful change at site level, working at the forefront of carbon reduction and energy efficiency.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support the execution of site-level strategies to achieve net-zero carbon emissions
- Analyse energy consumption, carbon emissions, and sustainability practices to identify improvement opportunities
- Recommend and implement energy-efficient technologies and renewable energy solutions
- Monitor progress and report regularly to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Stay ahead of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainability
- Manage the Net Zero site-specific budget and resource allocation
- Promote a culture of sustainability through education and engagement initiatives

- Strong knowledge of carbon accounting, energy consumption, and environmental impact assessment
- Proven experience in delivering carbon reduction strategies and sustainability initiatives
- Expertise in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable operations
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in setting utilities investment and optimisation strategies for production environments
- Commercial awareness and familiarity with UK Engineering Contracts (JCT, MF1)
