What you’ll do
Professional & Financial Risks
The team secures risk transfer solutions for professionals operating across a wide range of sectors, from established businesses through to new start-ups, on a direct basis and via third party intermediaries around the globe.
When working with retail and wholesale brokers, coverholders and MGAs, we assist in arranging cover that addresses the current professional liability exposures referenced above.
- Role Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of clients’ businesses, risk profiles, and insurance requirements, proactively identifying tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Support Account Handlers and Account Executives in preparing market presentations and documentation for both new business opportunities and renewal negotiations.
- Negotiate with London and international insurance markets to secure optimal coverage and terms aligned with clients’ risk management objectives.
- Provide expert guidance to clients on insurer selection, market options, and available risk transfer solutions.
- Assist in the production of high-quality presentations and proposal materials for prospective and existing clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure the efficient handling, placement, and servicing of client accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key market contacts, insurers, and stakeholders to support successful placement outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to work collaboratively across the organisation, leveraging cross-selling opportunities to enhance client solutions and business growth.
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date placing records using the corporate document management system.
- Contribute to the growth of the portfolio by identifying new business prospects, expanding existing client relationships, and actively participating in cross-selling initiatives across Miller where appropriate.
- Adhere to and meet fully the expectations of Miller, as set out in its policies and procedures, training material, and embedded in its systems and controls.
