The team supports and enhances all technology-based services to Miller with the aim of supporting and extending the business’ service range and excellence. Activities are carried out and managed against the Corporate Business Plan and Board/Business Unit priorities.

What you’ll do

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Workday Finance Functional Analyst to join our Technology, Data and Innovation team at Miller. This role partners with Finance to support FP&A, Expenses, Procurement, and Projects. As a Workday SME, the role gathers requirements, delivers configured solutions, maintains master data, supports testing, and resolves complex issues while managing core financial configurations and knowledge sharing.

Role Responsibilities

  • Serve as the TDI partner supporting Finance areas in Workday, including FP&A reporting, Expenses, Procurement, and Projects
  • Provide consultation to Financials COEs, building domain knowledge, gathering requirements, and providing solutions and impact analysis
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities
  • Maintain master data values in Workday across areas of responsibility
  • Configure, test, validate, and implement Business Process changes in Workday
  • Assist in testing of integrations, security, and recurring events
  • Provide input and knowledge sharing with the Workday Team Lead, Workday Team members, and clients as appropriate
  • Serve as an escalation resource for Tier 2 & 3 issues
  • Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training in order to improve policy and process acumen
  • Design and maintain system configuration, such as cost centres and consolidations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Workday Finance experience or training preferred

Knowledge

  • Understanding of Workday as a product and how this is used within business
  • Understanding of Finance operations and experience in Finance data management and reporting

Experience

  • Finance functional experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with Finance and IT clients
  • Ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess the clients’ needs and situation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
