Senior Frontend Engineer - Developer – JavaScript

An innovative, high-performance financial services organisation operating within the electronic trading sector is seeking to hire a Senior Frontend Developer as part of a new venture and strategy. This position requires attendance in the office 2 days per week at the client\’s offices in Central London, close to Monument.

Miller Maxwell is assisting a highly profitable electronic trading organisation in hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer – Developer with proven experience in designing and developing data-driven UIs and dashboards – financial experience is not essential. The Senior Frontend Engineer – Developer will drive innovation, architecture, and product development in a hands-on capacity, with no management responsibilities.

Responsibilities for the Senior Frontend Engineer – Developer:

• Design and develop several core software products.
• Create robust UIs for web and platform dashboards.
• Hands-on development throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to present system improvements and advancements.

Requirements for the Senior Frontend Engineer – Developer:

• Proven commercial frontend software engineering experience.
• TypeScript
• React
• HTML – CSS
• GraphQL
• Proven software architecture experience.
• Ability to provide details of previous experience designing and developing UIs/frontends for data-driven software.
• Experience in an Agile environment.
