This niche company trades exclusively with its own capital, using advanced technology and real-time data to execute high-frequency strategies across global markets. As they scale their engineering function, they are hiring for two B ackend Software Engineers to help build and optimise the systems that underpin their trading operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing and building scalable backend services using TypeScript and Node.js
- Developing and optimising SQL databases for high-throughput, low-latency data
- Implementing Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architecture
- Creating and maintaining GraphQL APIs to support internal tools and trading systems
- Collaborating closely with traders, quants, and product teams to deliver high-impact solutions
- Participating in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
