Base pay range
Senior Software Engineer – C++ – Linux – Unix – London. No financial services experience is required for this position. A highly successful electronic trading organisation, recently opening a London office, seeks to hire a Senior C++ Software Engineer as they build out this exciting new chapter for the business. The Senior C++ Software Engineer will work on the clients core trading platform.
The Senior C++ Software Engineer responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance the company\’s core software, which are electronic trading solutions.
- Build new components and improve platform reliability and latency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams in Chicago and New York.
Required Skill for the Senior C++ Software Engineer will require:
- A degree in a STEM related subject.
- At least five years of commercial C++ software engineering experience.
- Object-Orientated design and programming experience.
- Networking programming experience.
- Python Scripting experience.
- STL experience.
- An interest in moving into quantitative development in the future.
