As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work closely with front-office users to design and deliver bespoke user interfaces and platform enhancements integrated into proprietary trading systems. You will take ownership of greenfield development initiatives, lead technical delivery on selected projects, and contribute to a culture that continuously pushes the boundaries of performance, scalability, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate directly with front-office teams to enhance a sophisticated quantitative trading platform, contributing across both front-end and back-end components.
- Design and build high-performance user interfaces for trading and front-office users.
- Implement, configure, and evolve platform features and enhancements.
- Partner with backend Software Engineers to design and deliver new functionality.
- Work extensively with real-time data feeds, focusing on latency, reliability, and system performance.
- Proven experience in an electronic trading environment.
- Background within a Brokerage, Hedge Fund, Exchange, Investment Bank, ISV, or Proprietary Trading firm.
- Strong experience building front-office UIs or electronic trading screens.
- Hands-on experience with GraphQL.
- No back-end experience is required; experience within Python, Java or C++ environments is highly desirable.
