Python Platform Engineer – Kubernetes – Ansible – Terraform – Docker – Linux – A technology-driven systematic Hedge Fund seeks to hire a Python Platform Engineer to join their engineering and automation team. The organisation focuses on algorithmic and high-frequency trading strategies, employing 1000 people across offices in Asia, Europe, and the US, with activities spanning futures, options, cryptocurrency, and equities worldwide.
The Python Platform Engineer will join a talented team assembled from some of the best technology companies in the market, both inside and outside of financial services. The Python Platform Engineer will:
- Proven track record in roles such as Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar positions.
- Well-versed in containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Adept at using infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible and Terraform.
- Practical experience with version control systems (we use GitLab) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI).
- Proficient in Machine Learning engineering.
- Skilled in utilizing REST APIs and integrating with other systems.
- Excellent at communication and collaboration.
- Extensive knowledge of Python programming.
