They are seeking a Network Manager to take ownership of their network function — leading, mentoring, and developing an experienced team while driving improvements across automation, performance, reliability, and latency in a mission‑critical trading environment. This is an excellent step‑up role for a Senior / Lead Network Engineer who wants to move into management while remaining close to the technology.
As Network Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and evolving the firm’s network infrastructure, ensuring it continues to meet the demands of a low‑latency, real‑time trading environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and grow a specialist network engineering team.
- Own and optimise a secure, real‑time network infrastructure.
- Drive latency reduction and performance improvements across trading network.
- Monitor platforms, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
- Work on Unix systems, including analysis and scripting.
