Miller Maxwell is partnering with a market-leading Electronic Trading organisation. They seek to hire a Linux Engineer to join their dynamic Infrastructure & Engineering Team in the heart of London.

The Linux Engineer will:

  • Maintain and support electronic trading systems.
  • Implement new technologies to automate manual tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot complex systems issues in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Work across BAU and project-based initiatives.
  • Collaborate with QA and Development teams to drive automation.
  • Monitor system performance and optimise processes.
  • Keep service desk informed of changes and testing post-deployment.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation.

  • Degree in a STEM-related subject.
  • 3–5 years' commercial Linux experience.
  • Strong knowledge of RedHat / CentOS Linux (Enterprise).
