Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are looking for experienced Fire Protection Engineers to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and are looking to build a long-term career within a growing and respected specialist contractor.
The Role
As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering a range of passive fire protection works across residential, commercial, healthcare, education, industrial and public-sector projects. Working independently or as part of a team, you will ensure all installations are completed safely, compliantly and to the highest standards expected by our clients.
Typical duties will include:
- Installation of fire stopping systems
- Penetration sealing
- Installation of cavity barriers and fire barriers
- Fire boarding and encasement systems
- Application of fire-rated mastics and sealants
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
- Completing digital records and quality documentation
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and workmanship
- Liaising professionally with site teams, supervisors and clients
Projects are located nationwide, with the majority of work focused across the Midlands and London.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking experienced Fire Protection Engineers who understand the importance of compliance, quality and attention to detail.
- Proven experience within passive fire protection and fire stopping
- Strong understanding of fire compartmentation principles
- CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- NVQ qualifications in Passive Fire Protection
- FIRAS, BM TRADA or equivalent industry experience
- Experience working within occupied buildings and live environments
