Working within the Market Management team to support the management and development of strong, productive relationships with Miller’s strategic insurer partners from an administrative perspective.
The role will help improve coordination, visibility and commercial discipline across Miller business units and corporate entities, ensuring insurer engagement is consistent, insight-led and aligned with client and business objectives.
The Insurer Relationship Executive will provide analytical, operational and relationship-management support, helping to monitor insurer performance, maintain relevant agreements and contribute to insurer plans and communications.
- Role Responsibilities
- Provide diary management support for the team, securing slots for senior meetings involving multiple stakeholders.
- Organise varied market management events, both internal and external, working as the coordination point for the team.
- Act as our marketing liaison, working with marketing to ensure the teams output aligns to the Miller brand.
- Work with our internal finance team and external contacts to ensure all invoices are sent to relevant parties and paid in a timely fashion.
- For large scale meetings, take minutes and actions and share with all attendees, following up on actions to ensure executed.
- Support on projects such as surveys, newsletters, presentations, acting as the coordination point.
- Manage the team inbox to ensure all communications are responded to.
- Support the development and maintenance of relationships with Miller’s key and developing strategic insurer partners.
- Produce accurate management information and insight on insurer relationships, utilising our internal data dashboards,
- Analyse insurer data to identify trends, opportunities, risks and areas requiring action or escalation.
- Support the provision of cross-business-unit insurer insight, helping colleagues understand insurer appetite, capabilities, performance and strategic priorities.
- Act as a connector across Miller, bringing together relevant expertise from different business units to support coordinated insurer engagement and cross-sell opportunities.
- Help ensure strategic insurer partners are approached in a joined-up, commercially effective and relationship-led manner.
- Maintain accurate records of insurer contacts, relationship activity, agreements, performance information and action plans in relevant systems.
- Contribute to the preparation of presentations, reports and briefing papers for senior internal stakeholders and insurer partners.
- Support the promotion of greater coordination, visibility and discipline across business units and Miller corporate entities.
Qualifications, knowledge and experience
Qualifications
- Relevant degree, professional qualification or equivalent experience is desirable but not essential
- Progress towards, or willingness to undertake, relevant insurance or professional development qualifications is desirable.
- Knowledge and skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident presentation skills and stakeholder-management capability.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.
- Proactive, collaborative and able to work effectively across multiple teams.
- Professional, discreet and comfortable working with confidential commercial information.
Experience
- Experience of producing reports, presentations, meeting documents that communicate information clearly.
- Comfortable producing data with the ability to turn it into straightforward, useful insights for the wider team to use.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle several tasks and deadlines at once.
- Confident communicator who can present information clearly and build positive working relationships to stakeholders.
