The Opportunity
A well‑known, high‑volume coastal restaurant in the Portrush area is hiring a strong Chef to lead standards and delivery in a fast‑paced kitchen. The menu has a clear seafood + grill identity, backed by quality local produce and busy peak periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Run service with pace and consistency during busy periods
- Strong section control: prep planning, execution, and pass standards
- Maintain top hygiene, HACCP and allergen compliance
- Stock control, ordering, portioning, and waste reduction
- Train and motivate the kitchen team; set standards and hold them
- Support specials/seasonal changes in line with the venue style
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a quality, high‑standards kitchen (seafood and/or grill experience a big plus)
- Confident on the pass and able to manage pressure without drama
