Key Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day management of the Technical Department and engagement with external contractors and consultants to ensure prioritised architectural and engineering advice is inputted into individual projects.
- Ownership of planning applications by managing the process to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
Qualifications and Experience
- Knowledge of technical issues and a good understanding of Building Regulations / NHBC standards gained within a Technical role.
- Experience at a similar level with a residential developer.
- Relevant qualification (HNC, HND, an appropriate degree or corporate membership of a relevant professional institution).
- Beneficial to have a good contact base within the industry including Local Authority / NHBC contacts, consultants, architects, etc.
- Good management and leadership skills.
