We are looking to recruit a SHE Advisor (Health & Safety) to join our Teesside team and provide regional support to the Divisional SHE Director in the implementation and supervision of the Company's Safety, Health and Environmental policy, ensuring a healthy and safe environment for all employees and workers engaged on Company business.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor, develop and implement SHE systems to ensure our standards, performance and compliance is of the highest order.
  • Provide support and advice to the Region and represent Regional Management in discussions with employees and external organisations on safety, health & environmental matters.
  • Support the development of Health & Safety management capability within the Region by improving the skills and knowledge of Miller personnel.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and best practice in Health & Safety management.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a similar role, ideally within the housebuilding sector.
  • NEBOSH certification (or equivalent).
  • Experience in carrying out audits, accident investigation and liaison with relevant statutory bodies.
  • A natural leader possessing integrity, presence, drive, determination and enthusiasm.
