About the role

We are also creating a better working environment for our people. We create better places where people and planet prosper. We are looking to recruit a Legal Manager to join our busy Legal department. The role will see you provide project management, process implementation and administrative support to the Group Legal Director and Legal Department of Miller Homes to ensure an appropriate level of legal support and customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the management of escalated complaints, contentious matters and litigation ensuring that all disputes and escalated issues are handled effectively, efficiently and in alignment with Miller Homes’ values and legal, regulatory and reputational risks.
  • Manage several different processes and projects to ensure deadlines are met and contributions received by relevant parties.
  • Provide effective support and administration for the group legal team coordinating legal support for operational aspects of Miller Homes.
  • Prepare agendas, minutes and reports.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in a Customer Service Manager / Administrative Manager / Paralegal type background.
  • Ability to analyse and interrogate data and correct errors.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and provide solutions to problems.
