Responsibilities
- Identification of land opportunities, both on and off market, that fit the company's requirements (as amended from time to time)
- Maintaining a comprehensive network of relevant contacts, particularly in the regional operating area (or other as directed)
- Progress deals post offer acceptance, including liaison with internal and external parties (e.g. Solicitors) towards exchange of contracts and subsequent legal completion
- Engage in appropriate CPD to ensure knowledge of relevant technical/planning/legal, or other matters relevant to the job, are maintained
Qualifications
- Extensive experience of land acquisition, preferably gained in a private house building environment
- Numerate and conversant with Land Appraisal systems, budgets etc.
- Able to work on own or as part of a multi‑disciplined team
- Knowledge of legal, technical and planning matters related to the land acquisition process
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive basic salary
- 26 days annual leave + public holidays + your birthday off
- Opportunity to earn 20% / 25% bonus (role dependent)
- Company car, or car allowance of £5,500 / £5,850 p/a (role dependent)
