We are looking to recruit a Senior Architectural Technician to join our fantastic Group Technical team. The role will see you supporting the design and technical delivery of high‑quality design and technical solutions, producing and reviewing detailed technical drawings, ensuring compliance with regulations and NHBC standards, and providing technical expertise across multiple projects. You will also review and assess external consultants’ and suppliers’ information to ensure compatibility with internal designs, facilitating smooth project coordination and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed construction drawings, and technical documentation for both bespoke and standard house types accurately.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues during the design phase to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
  • Work closely with structural engineers, suppliers, and regional technical teams to ensure designs are coordinated and aligned with project objectives.
  • Support the Group Architectural Manager in implementing quality control measures.

Requirements

  • Experience in working for a housebuilder or consultancy providing services to a housebuilder is essential.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and prioritise work efficiently.
  • Have a minimum HND/HNC or equivalent in Architecture or Construction.
  • To be aware of emerging and changing legislation, and demonstrate excellent knowledge of Building Regulations and NHBC Standards.
