We are looking to recruit a Land Manager or Senior Land Manager to join our East Midlands Land team based in Derby. The Land Manager / Senior Land Manager will identify, evaluate and secure land opportunities that meet, or exceed, the business needs for the Region and Area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identification of land opportunities, both on and off market, that fit the company’s requirements (as amended from time to time)
  • Maintaining a comprehensive network of relevant contacts, particularly in the regional operating area (or other as directed)
  • Progress deals post offer acceptance, including liaison with internal and external parties (e.g. Solicitors) towards exchange of contracts and subsequent legal completion
  • Engage in appropriate CPD to ensure knowledge of relevant technical/planning/legal, or other matters relevant to the job, are maintained
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Extensive experience of land acquisition, preferably gained in a private house building environment
  • Numerate and conversant with Land Appraisal systems, budgets etc.
  • Able to work on own or as part of a multi-disciplined team
  • Knowledge of legal, technical and planning matters related to the land acquisition process
