We are looking to recruit a SHE Manager (Health & Safety) to join our fantastic team in the West Midlands. The role will see you provide support to the SHE Director in the implementation and supervision of the Company’s Safety, Health and Environmental policy so as to ensure a healthy and safe environment for all employees and workers engaged on Company business within both the Area and the allocated Region.
Responsibilities- Monitor, develop and implement SHE systems to ensure our standards, performance and compliance is of the highest order.
- Provide support and advice to the Region and represent Regional Management in discussions with employees and external organisations on safety, health & environmental (SHE) matters.
- Support the development of Health & Safety management capability within the Region by improving the skills and knowledge of Miller personnel.
- Report on Area Performance and in conjunction with the Area Management, develop solutions for compliance and improvement.
- NEBOSH certification (or equivalent).
- Experience working in a similar role within the Housebuilding sector.
- Ability to interpret SH&E legislation and to convey it accurately to employees, contractors and their relevant parties.
- A natural leader possessing integrity, presence, drive, determination, natural enthusiasm.
- Competitive basic salary.
- 26 days annual leave + public holidays + your birthday off.
- Company car or car allowance of £5,850 per annum.
- Company contribute 6.5% to your pension, plus other benefits.
