We are looking to recruit a Senior Land Manager to join our expanding Southern Land team based in Basingstoke. The Senior Land Manager will identify, evaluate and secure land opportunities that meet, or exceed, the business needs for the Region and Area.
Responsibilities- Identification of land opportunities, both on and off market, that fit the company’s requirements (as amended from time to time)
- Maintaining a comprehensive network of relevant contacts, particularly in the regional operating area (or other as directed)
- Progress deals post offer acceptance, including liaison with internal and external parties (e.g. Solicitors) towards exchange of contracts and subsequent legal completion
- Engage in appropriate CPD to ensure knowledge of relevant technical / planning / legal, or other matters relevant to the job, are maintained
- Extensive experience of land acquisition, preferably gained in a private house building environment
- Numerate and conversant with Land Appraisal systems, budgets etc.
- Able to work on own or as part of a multi-disciplined team
- Knowledge of legal, technical and planning matters related to the land acquisition process
- Competitive basic salary
- 26 days annual leave + public holidays + your birthday off
- Opportunity to earn 25% bonus
- Company car, or car allowance of £5,850 p/a
