We are looking to recruit a Technical Director Manager to lead our North West Technical Team based in our Warrington Office reporting to the Managing Director.
As a Technical Director you will oversee, develop and effectively manage the performance of the Technical Department. In addition, to contribute to the development of the Company’s house-type portfolio and to advise on planning and technical matters at a strategic area and/or regional level. As part of the regional management team and by being an integral part of the land acquisition due diligence process, ensure that the provision of technical and planning advice makes an effective contribution to the evaluation and acquisition of new land and development opportunities.
Key Functional Areas;
To be responsible for all elements of the design and engineering disciplines within the regional/area function
To provide strategic direction and technical support at regional/area level
To shape and develop a professional team which has a strong work ethic and high reputation both internally and externally
To ensure that the Technical Team is creative, innovative, commercially aware and committed to continued professional development.
To be directly involved in the management of planning, building control, services, drainage, highways and bonding matters as well as many other technical elements
