We are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team in our West Midlands region. The main purpose of the role is to fulfil Senior Surveying commercial duties on a single or a number of projects within Miller Homes Limited.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Procurement of sub-contract trades and reconciliation of material purchase orders placed by Buyers
  • Consolidation and analysis of monthly commercial reports
  • Liaising with the finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of live developments is maintained
  • Mentoring of Junior team members
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Surveying skills gained with a recognised house builder or within the wider construction sector with the ability to work to set monthly reporting timescales.
  • Knowledge and experience with software systems used within a Commercial role (Cognos/Anaplan and JDE desirable)
  • Must be capable of being a good team player and be able to interact with other departments
  • Organised and able to manage multiple projects and demands on workload at any one time
