We are looking to recruit a Technical Coordinator to join our fantastic South West Technical team. The role will see you provide the link between design and on-site construction by being the main point of contact for Technical issues within a Region. When appropriate to subsequently liaise with the Technical Team to ensure all matters are dealt with in a timely and cost effective way.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- To work closely within the Region to understand their Technical needs and to act as a key link back into the Central Technical Team to ensure workloads are prioritised and met.
- To help determine and manage consultant and sub-contractor proposals in conjunction with the Technical team.
- To ensure all approvals are obtained and information received and issued to allow for a prompt start on site.
- To make decisions on an Area and Regional level on all Technical matters.
- Have experience as a Technical Coordinator with a housebuilder, consultancy or in a related field.
- To have an all-round knowledge of technical issues including a good understanding of Building Regulations / NHBC standards.
- To be qualified to HND/HNC or degree level and/or have corporate membership of a recognised professional institute.
- To be able to input and help determine and manage consultant and sub-contractor proposals in conjunction with the Technical team.
- Competitive basic salary.
