We are looking to strengthen our team with the appointment of an experienced Senior Timber Frame Designer based in our office in Bo’ness. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive, expanding business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Production of accurate CAD and Mitek Woodengine drawings and schedules for the factory manufacture and site construction.
- Prepare and manage RFI's, highlighting any commercial or timeline impacts.
- Collaborate with structural engineers, architects and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, Building/NHBC standards and the company health and safety procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in timber frame design (residential, commercial, or closed panel projects).
- Strong proficiency in CAD and Mitek design software. Other software packages will be considered.
- Understanding of UK Building regulations and statutory requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate, high quality design work.
In return we offer a competitive salary and package dependent upon experience to the successful candidate. This is a full-time, permanent position - 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
