We are looking to strengthen our team with the appointment of an experienced Maintenance Engineer based in our Bo’ness Manufacturing Facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct maintenance of current machinery and equipment, both in terms of planning and reactive maintenance, responding to breakdowns and fault finding.
  • Contribute to the installation and decommissioning of machinery/equipment.
  • Providing support to the production assembly teams.
  • Working with our Health and Safety advisor, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards during all maintenance activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Recognised Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualification.
  • Ability to work alone, however you will at times appoint and work with external sub-contractors.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Good IT skills – Excel, Word, Outlook etc.

This is an exciting time to be joining the Company in this area of the business – we are about to embark on the installation of a new site-wide Biomass Heating System supported by an upgraded Dust Extraction System in our Sawmill. We are also in the process of finalising plans for the creation of a new automated timber frame panel assembly facility within the next 2 years.

In return we offer a competitive salary and package dependent upon experience to the successful candidate. This is a full-time, permanent position - 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
