We are looking to recruit a SHE Advisor (Health & Safety) to join our fantastic team. This is a regional role that will see you cover the Midlands.
The role will see you provide regional support to the Divisional SHE Director in the implementation and supervision of the Company’s Safety, Health and Environmental policy so as to ensure a healthy and safe environment for all employees and workers engaged on Company business.
Responsibilities- Monitor, develop and implement SHE systems to ensure our standards, performance and compliance is of the highest order.
- Provide support and advice to the Region and represent Regional Management in discussions with employees and external organisations on safety, health & environmental (SHE) matters.
- Support the development of Health & Safety management capability within the Region by improving the skills and knowledge of Miller personnel.
- Carry out site visits and audits to ensure compliance with specified procedures and standards.
- Experience working in a similar role, ideally within the housebuilding sector.
- NEBOSH certification (or equivalent).
- Experience in carrying out audits, accident investigation and liaison with relevant statutory bodies.
- A natural leader possessing integrity, presence, drive, determination, natural enthusiasm.
- Competitive basic salary.
- 26 days annual leave + public holidays + your birthday off.
- Company car or car allowance of £5,500 per annum.
- Company contribute 6.5% to your pension, plus other benefits.
