We are looking to recruit an Architectural Technician to join our technical team based in our Scotland West region.
Reporting directly to the Design Manager, the successful candidate will have demonstrated a good knowledge of the Architectural responsibility in the residential sector of the construction industry. They will require to demonstrate an ability to manage Building Warrant applications from start to finish. An understanding of the Planning system including the importance of policy and procedure.
The candidate will be expected to be able to answer construction queries and visit site as necessary, therefore a strong understanding of construction detailing and building technology is fundamental. Site layout design is not essential for this role, but knowledge of good layout design is beneficial. House type design is not essential for this role either as Miller Homes has a specific division responsible for house type design, but a good understanding of said design is also beneficial.
