We are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join us at our Head Office in Edinburgh, on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract, starting immediately. The purpose of this role is to maintain the Accounts Payable Ledger through the accurate and timely processing of invoices. To post inter-company costs from Division, as well as processing expense claims and some other adhoc finance duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Scanning, validating, receipting & matching of invoices
- Liaising with site managers and suppliers to resolve site/purchase queries
- Maintain the utility accounts for all sites
- Opening mail and distributing it to the correct region / department
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Word and email systems
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
