We are looking to recruit a Senior Technical Manager to join our Technical team based in our Southern (Basingstoke) office reporting to the Technical Director.

As a Technical manager you will conduct the day to day management of the Technical Department and will engage with external contractors and consultants to ensure that prioritised architectural and engineering advice is inputted into individual projects, and ensure delivery on time and within budget. Critical to the role is the ownership of planning applications by managing the process. The successful candidate should have good management and leadership skills.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of technical issues and a good understanding of Building Regulations / NHBC standards gained within a Technical role. You will have had experience at a similar level with a residential developer. You should possess a relevant qualification (HNC, HND, an appropriate degree or corporate membership of a relevant professional institution). It would be beneficial to have a good contact base within the industry including Local Authority / NHBC contacts, consultants, architects, etc.
