The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join the firm's specialist team on a hybrid working basis. The successful candidate will manage a varied and complex caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, providing high-quality advice and representation to clients who have suffered harm as a result of medical treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of clinical negligence claims from instruction through to settlement or trial.
- Handle a broad range of cases including surgical errors, delayed diagnoses, misdiagnosis, birth injury and fatal claims.
- Conduct investigations, obtain expert evidence, and prepare detailed witness statements.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients at mediations and hearings where appropriate.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
- Ideally 4 years' PQE (Grade A or B level) in clinical negligence however Grade C's and newly qualified will also be considered.
- Proven experience handling a clinical negligence caseload independently.
