Family Solicitor

Our client, a leading regional firm in Northampton, is looking for an experienced Family Solicitor to join their Northampton office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior to mid-level Family associate to join a large and collaborative team working on predominantly private Family and Children’s law.

You will be working alongside a long-standing head of department with a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of Family law.

The Role:

1. Managing your own caseload of Family law matters, to include Child Law, Divorce and Finance, Cohabitation breakdown, injunctions, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements and domestic abuse.
2. Assisting Partners on their matters whilst also taking a proactive approach to Business Development and generating your own clients.
3. Support and assist junior members of the team and paralegals where appropriate.

The Candidate:

1. The candidate should ideally have at least 1 year PQE specialising in Family Law. Private Family Law experience is advantageous.
2. Is personable, professional and detail-oriented.
3. A team player with a desire for professional development.
4. Is ambitious and looking for a role with good prospects in a friendly team.
