Miller Grace Recruitment is looking to appoint an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their busy defendant team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Solicitor to take ownership of a varied caseload of defendant clinical negligence matters, while also supporting senior leadership on more complex and high-value claims. The role offers excellent exposure, responsibility, and the chance to play a key role in a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

You will be joining a dynamic litigation department handling a broad mix of claims, including multi-track and complex matters, with strong support from experienced colleagues. The firm is conveniently located in Warrington, with excellent transport links to both Manchester and Liverpool. This is a full-time, office-based position.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 3+ years’ PQE
  • Proven experience managing a caseload of defendant clinical negligence matters
  • Strong technical knowledge of clinical negligence litigation and procedure
  • Experience handling litigated matters from instruction through to resolution
  • Advocacy experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing your own caseload of clinical negligence claims from inception to conclusion
  • Advising on liability, causation, quantum and overall merits
  • Conducting liability and quantum investigations
  • Supporting senior colleagues on complex, high-value matters
  • Preparing cases for trial and attending hearings
