We are delighted to be partnering alongside one of our esteemed clients, a well-rounded and respected law firm located in Leeds, known for its high-quality work and supportive culture. They are currently seeking an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEx) to join their thriving Residential Property department on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to manage a diverse, high-value caseload with strong paralegal and administrative support, offering clear pathways for professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a full and varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to post-completion.
- Handling sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, new build, and shared ownership matters.
- Title investigation, drafting contracts, handling exchange and completion procedures.
- Dealing professionally with clients, lenders, and third-party solicitors.
- Ensuring compliance with CQS requirements and internal firm standards.
Skills and Experience Required
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience running a full, unsupervised residential conveyancing caseload from inception to post-completion.
- In-depth knowledge of the conveyancing process, including complex leasehold and unregistered land matters.
- Excellent client care, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
