My client, a well-respected Litigation Practice is looking to recruit an experienced Costs Draftsman/Costs Lawyer to their established team. You will be providing Costs support in Clinical Negligence and Serious Injury with exposure to some real quality work. You will be responsible for dealing with a large caseload that will include bill drafting and negotiations.
Responsibilities include but are not exclusive to:
- Drafting bills of costs (using CostsMaster drafting software) in both traditional and electronic (Precedent S) format
- Preparing Costs Budgets in form Precedent H in accordance with Departmental requirements/workstreams
- Managing your own caseload dealing with complex matters
- Negotiation
You must have a minimum of 12 months experience in a Bill Drafting, Budgeting or negotiating role. Qualified Costs lawyer experience is desirable but not essential.
