Large, well respected, legal 500 litigation practice based in Manchester is looking to recruit a Costs Lawyer/Costs Draftsman to join their busy teams. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a similar firm/department. Dealing with a litigated caseload of litigated Costs files in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence files.

Your duties will involve:

  • Drafting bills of costs (using CostsMaster drafting software) in both traditional and electronic (Precedent S) format
  • Preparing Costs Budgets in form Precedent H in accordance with Departmental requirements/workstreams
  • Managing your own caseload dealing with complex matters
  • Negotiation
