My client, a leading top 100 Law Firm with offices across the UK is looking to recruit Costs Draftsmen, Costs Lawyers and Costs Negotiators to join their high-performing team. You will be providing bespoke costs drafting support to colleagues within the Litigation team. You will be responsible for the management of a bill drafting caseload, ensuring delivery of high-quality bills of costs.
- Drafting bills of costs (using CostsMaster drafting software) in both traditional and electronic (Precedent S) format.
- Minimum of 12 months experience in a Bill Drafting, Budgeting or negotiating role.
- Proficient in using CostsMaster drafting software to draft bills in both traditional and Precedent S (electronic) format.
- Qualified lawyer experience is desirable but not essential.
- Good understanding of the CPR, relevant legislation, case law and costs industry regulations.
