We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients; a Commercial Property Paralegal at their Legal 500 firm based in Central Business District.

Salary: Depending on level of experience.

You will provide essential support to a team of Solicitors and Partners handling a diverse portfolio of real estate matters. You will be involved in the full life cycle of property transactions, from initial instruction and due diligence through to completion and post-completion formalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and negotiating legal documents including commercial leases, licenses to assign, rent deposit deeds, and transfer deeds.
  • Managing the property search process, reviewing search results, and drafting Reports on Title for clients and lenders.
  • Preparing and responding to Commercial Property Standard Enquiries.
  • Preparing completion statements, invoices, and managing the movement of funds via client ledgers.
  • Submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns.
  • Managing Land Registry applications and dealing with requisitions.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and 'Know Your Client' (KYC) regulations.
  • Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, developers, and local authorities across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
