Our Software Development Engineering team combines their Software and Electronics skills to establish solutions to integrating instrumentation into user-friendly systems. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest instrumentation predominantly implementing PC-based solutions in different environments to continue to push the innovation within the business and in turn enjoy the challenges that you are looking for.
As a Druck Test & Measurement Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Creating software solutions to enable successful testing of Druck products.
- Close engagement with Product design teams ensuring smooth completion of NPIs and CPOs.
- Diagnosing existing software code/programs to enable hardware refresh activities.
- Performing fault finding diagnostics on integrated Electronic & Software systems.
- Ensuring code is suitably documented and in accordance with Druck’s standards.
- Providing localised support to the manufacturing facility as required.
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have:
- Experience with various C++ programming languages and environments, i.e. Qt/Visual Studio.
- Demonstrated strong Mathematical and Statistical skills.
- Project management of your workloads suitably based on priorities.
- Comfortable working in an environment with high expectations for quality, on-time delivery and deadlines.
- Proven experience in basic Electronics design.
- An ability to work and communicate well with others.
- Experience within a Test & Measurement or Metrology environment would be an advantage but not essential.
