We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented EMEA Benefits Specialist to join our team. This role will oversee the day-to-day management of employee benefit programmes across the EMEA region, with a particular focus on the UK, Switzerland, Ireland, UAE, France and Italy. While the primary focus will be on EMEA, familiarity with benefits programs in APAC is advantageous, as the successful candidate may contribute to global initiatives. This position encompasses both strategic and operational responsibilities, requiring an individual with a rigorous approach to managing core benefits programs while also demonstrating a strong passion for employee well-being. The successful candidate will possess a collaborative mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a "can-do" attitude, ensuring the effective delivery of benefit and wellbeing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Core benefits programme management: Design, implement, and manage comprehensive benefits programs across the EMEA region, including health insurance, pension and risk insurances. Ensure all benefits programs remain compliant with local statutory requirements. Conduct market benchmarking and analysis to ensure benefits offerings remain competitive. Assess existing benefits programs and recommend enhancements to align with employee needs and organizational objectives. Pro-actively manage relationships with benefit brokers and vendors.
  • Wellbeing programme development: Develop and implement innovative well-being initiatives to support employees’ mental, physical, and financial health. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external providers to introduce impactful well-being programmes tailored to the needs of employees in the EMEA region. Promote awareness and engagement in well-being initiatives through targeted communication strategies and campaigns.
  • Operational excellence: Oversee the day-to-day administration of benefits programs, including enrollment, renewals, and resolution of employee inquiries, alongside the HR Operations team. Coordinate with the payroll team to ensure the precise and timely processing of benefits-related deductions and payments.
  • Compliance and risk management: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of labour laws and benefits regulations across the EMEA region, ensuring all programmes are compliant. Conduct regular audits of benefits programs and processes to proactively identify and mitigate risks.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Professional experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in benefits management, with proven in-house expertise in a corporate environment. Experience within the financial services industry or a similarly fast-paced sector is highly desirable.
  • Regional expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of benefits practices, labour laws, and compliance requirements across EMEA. Familiarity with APAC benefits is advantageous.
  • Passion for wellbeing: Demonstrated interest in and commitment to employee wellbeing, with experience designing or managing wellbeing programmes.
  • Operational and strategic acumen: A proven ability to balance day-to-day operational responsibilities with the development and execution of longer-term strategies.
  • Collaboration and teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR, Legal, and Finance.
  • Technical proficiency: Proficiency in benefits administration systems and tools. Advanced Excel skills and experience with Workday is highly desirable.
  • Communication skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Detail-oriented: A meticulous approach to managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a high-performance environment.
