Developer - Systematic Trading

Overview

Developer – Systematic Trading role at Millennium. We are seeking a Developer to join Millennium’s trading team focused on data collection, analytics, and trading for the systematic trading group.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with PMs, traders and quants to support and enhance the system
• Load data from multiple external and internal sources
• Build monitoring system to proactively spot any data issues
• Create APIs for the business to access data
• Develop streaming analytics and real-time monitoring
• Develop testing framework
• Continual improvement of existing codebase

Qualifications/Skills Required

• Master or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related area
• Knowledge of Q/KDB+ is an advantage
• Familiarity with Linux is preferred
• Quick learner, detail oriented; demonstrable thoroughness and strong ownership of work
• Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others
• Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; high sense of urgency
• Strong communication skills
