The BAPM team is responsible for requirements documentation, project delivery, program management, domain knowledge, and collaboration with all teams involved in the software development lifecycle.

The Trading Services team, part of Equities Technology, handles critical real-time, pre-trade risk compliance, inventory management across all asset classes, and latency-critical trading. They also manage and distribute intraday and historical trading data to trading and booking systems, and portfolio managers for pre- and post-trade analysis. This platform is expected to process 35 billion order/execution messages this year.

The role involves implementing the Trading Services project pipeline and requires a hands-on approach to data analysis and business requirements development. The candidate should be comfortable analyzing large trading data volumes to ensure comprehensive requirements and solutions.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of Equities Technology projects, collaborating with Risk, Compliance, Execution Services, Treasury, Operations, and Technology teams.
  • Document business requirements in Confluence, technical requirements in JIRA, and perform project-level integration analysis.
  • Interface with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Develop and enforce project governance and maintain communication with stakeholders.
  • Participate in projects across applications in execution services, research, post-trade, position management, and data management.
  • Support development teams in implementing strategic architecture.
  • Guide client systems and portfolio managers in using Trading Services data, demonstrating deep understanding of the trading environment.
Qualifications and Skills
  • At least 10 years of experience in business analysis and project delivery within financial institutions or related sectors.
  • Expertise in liquid markets trading and products, including equities, derivatives, and fixed income.
  • Proficiency in analyzing large data sets to extract actionable insights.
  • Experience with SQL and database tools; additional data analysis skills are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with waterfall and agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across teams and communicate effectively at all levels.
