Location: This is a hybrid role, with a mix of working in our Hull and York based services, our head office and with the occasional option to work from home. Already operating 3 complex supported living services we’re planning to add another service in the Hull area during 2026, with further opportunities to expand across the locality in the future. This is a great opportunity for someone to really shape and strengthen our existing services, support ongoing transitions, and play a key role in developing new ones. The Service Manager role will also include Registered Manager responsibility for our Hull & North Yorkshire services, which currently consist of three Advanced Supported Living houses.

  • Communication: Work closely with colleagues, stakeholders, and families to ensure joined‑up support, sharing information, reporting incidents, and contributing to MDT meetings as needed.
  • Developing Potential: Foster the growth of Deputy Managers and Team Leaders through personal development and mentoring.
  • Upskilling Teams: Ensure your team is equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide the best support possible.
  • Inclusive Culture: Promote a service culture where everyone is included and aware of their impact.

What we are looking for:

  • A values-driven person who’s passionate about developing potential.

  • A strong communicator who connects easily with people from all walks of life.
  • Resilient and calm under pressure, leading by example in challenging situations.
  • Proven experience leading teams within a Health and Social Care, particularly supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours of distress.
  • Strong knowledge of the regulatory frameworks within the Health and Social Care sector.
  • The knowledge and experience needed to achieve Registered Manager status.
  • Holds, or is willing to work towards, a relevant sector related Level 5 qualification.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
