The role involves interfacing with all EMEA-based trading teams, Technology teams, External vendors, Risk Management, Operations, and Brokers. We are seeking an L1/L2 Trading Applications Support Analyst – FIC to join our London team, providing trade support to all EMEA Trading Teams on proprietary and external trading applications. Responsibilities include resolving client and application issues related to our trading platforms and executing trades across global markets. The focus will be on business support for fixed income products (FICC), including trading support, trade issue resolution, ad-hoc projects, new user setups, training, and real-time application monitoring. You will be part of a Global Support Team (follow the sun model) to deliver world-class service to our users. Principal Responsibilities Trade Support: Level 1+ support for Fixed Income, Commodities, and FX Trading systems – acting as the first call for all EMEA-based trading groups. Fixed Income Algo Support – supporting Millennium’s proprietary platform for electronic and algo trading, including testing, requirements gathering, marketing, and implementation with PM teams. Level 2 support – automating processes to enhance efficiency and streamline trade support. Incident & Change management. Documenting and updating the knowledge base to provide effective solutions for trading issues. Managing communications with stakeholders such as firm management, brokers, development teams, and risk management. Trading Platform Onboarding and Management: Platform onboarding: coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure correct installation, configuration, and testing of trading platforms. User onboarding: setting up new users, configuring accounts and permissions, coordinating with risk for trading limits, and testing. User training: providing training on trading applications, risk management platforms, and APIs. Qualifications/Skills Required: 3+ years of experience in Trade Support or Business Analyst roles within major financial institutions. Experience supporting fixed income & derivatives trading platforms such as Bloomberg, TT, Tradeweb, BidFX, WebICE is a plus. Exposure to multiple asset classes (EQ Derivatives, Interest Rates derivatives, Equities Cash markets, Fixed Income, Credit) is a plus. Good understanding of Unix/Windows environments. Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (Python, Java) and API concepts (HTTP, RestAPIs) is a plus. Intermediate SQL skills. Familiarity with middle and back-office systems, risk management tools (Murex, openLink, Imagine), and market data services (Bloomberg, Reuters) is a plus. Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a good sense of urgency. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong enthusiasm for trading environments and new technologies.
