Responsibilities
- Assist with daily trade execution across relevant asset classes, ensuring accurate and timely booking in internal systems.
- Monitor intraday positions, P&L, and key risk metrics, promptly flagging discrepancies or unusual activity to senior traders.
- Support traders with market, product, and trade analysis, using data and programming tools to inform decisions.
- Prepare and maintain daily reports on trading activity, market moves, and key news/events relevant to the portfolio.
- Contribute to improving trading processes, tools, and controls to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
Background
- Degree in finance, economics, maths, physics, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in business, markets, and economics.
- Prior internship/grad scheme experience beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in mathematics.
- Proficiency in software programming.
- Familiarity with financial markets, derivatives, and options (a plus but not required).
