Strategic Business Services is responsible for the global structuring and execution of new and complex investment team structures and strategies. Working across the lifecycle of both internal and external teams, the department partners directly with trading management, investment teams and key business functions to deliver solutions that help unlock, grow and scale new business opportunities. Within this organization, Trading Services supports the onboarding of portfolio managers and their teams to the Millennium platform, serving as a central point of coordination, guidance and connectivity across asset classes and trading strategies.
What You'll Do
- Serve as primary point of contact for planning, coordination, and execution of onboarding activities for internal and external portfolio managers and their teams.
- Partner with senior leaders across Equities, Fixed Income, Credit, Commodities, and Quant Strategies to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience.
- Build a strong understanding of portfolio manager requirements and coordinate delivery across Risk, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Legal, HR, and other teams.
- Lead cross-functional projects from planning through delivery to enhance PM experience, strategy support and data capture.
- Support strategic initiatives related to new strategies, products, markets, and trading systems.
- Provide high-quality advisory guidance to managers as they set up and onboard to the Millennium platform; maintaining an in-depth understanding of how to leverage the platform effectively.
What You Bring
- 12+ years of experience in financial services, ideally within a hedge fund, allocator, or prime brokerage environment.
- Strong knowledge of market structure, including equities execution flows, trading strategies, and hedge fund or broker operational processes.
- Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively across business lines and functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear guidance and actionable next steps.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment in complex and fast-moving situations.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of attention to detail.
